I've updated the forums to the current release of vBulletin and it appears everything is running fine and all my customizations were able to be brought across easily. As with any upgrade if you find things not working quite right, please let me know!
Ok... so 8/20 a friend came into town, this wasn't going to stop me from working out, but a collision of other events managed to... went out and had a great time without working out, no big deal.
