According to
Ars Technica the world would have been better off waiting forever for Duke Nukem to release their next title... This I find disappointing, not only did GearBox take the biggest piece of VaporWear ever and release it, they took one of the greatest franchises ever and destroyed it's memory.
I'll probably still buy the damn thing, but not for $60... I'll wait until it hits the $10 bin at Wally World!
Update: So it's been around the block, reviewers are universally bashing it, and a few of my friends have given it rave "Duke Worthy" reviews. (One of my "Duke Worthy" reviews comes from a friend who I used to LAN party with in Kansas, he was a regular author of the comic strip Monochrome when I ran OGCAN.COM and has since gone on to become a game developer himself, he has several titles under his belt, but unless you are a 7-12 year old girl you aren't likely to know them.)
